Division 2 – What’s the game all about?

Even though it’s a massively multiplayer game, it still manages to preserve the most important aspect of every video game, which is the story. According to many critics, the game had a very good improvement from when it first came out, and we can’t really deny the fact that Massive Entertainment is working hard to keep the content fresh and intriguing to both new and old players.

We don’t want to spoil the story for you, so we won’t go into any important details, but here’s a brief explanation of what’s going on with the plot. The game is set in a near-future Washington, D.C, in the aftermath of a smallpox pandemic. You’re an agent of the Strategic Homeland Division and you’re trying to rebuild the city that’s currently in chaos. The rest is up to you to discover.

What kind of gameplay should I expect?

The game has very unique gameplay which is something that’s categorized as a third-person perspective cover-based shooter. By cover-based, we mean that in many situations you’ll need to use the environment in order to find a place to hide from incoming fire. This means that the gameplay itself is pretty tactical and it requires a lot of thinking, which makes it a lot more interesting. If you were to simply run and shoot at enemies, dying in-game or getting honorable frags will not feel as rewarding as it does with the current gameplay mechanics. Think of it as a fast-paced chess game that has a lot more action and immersive graphics.

Is the game difficult to play?

If you are more of a ”casual” gamer, chances are that you’re wondering if this game is going to be any difficulty for you to progress in. Well, unfortunately, the answer is yes. It takes some good practice to become good in Division 2, and if you are not putting in hours in gameplay, chances are that you will not get your hands on that “juicy loot”. Luckily, you are always able to get a Division 2 boost from some of the more experienced players, so feel free to check this if you are interested in learning more.

Is it only PVE (Player vs Environment)?

Luckily, Division 2 features a lot of PVP (Player vs Player) action, which is something that makes this title even better. The PVP system is well-designed and will keep you on the edge of your seat, however, you might run into a very experienced player every now and then and get obliterated. This shouldn’t be a discouragement, and if something like this happens to you it should serve as a motivation to get better at the game and get your revenge. Just keep playing and you’ll get the mechanics in no time. You can’t really be good at the game instantly and without any practice, so make sure not to give up and keep on grinding.
